CORGI announce the launch of Worksafe Manager, a new automated gas safety form and workflow management system, the first of its kind to be developed specifically to meet the needs of gas installers.
Developed by CORGI, the software allows gas installers to control and manage day-to-day tasks for companies of up to 10 operatives. Worksafe Manager is fully compliant with the requirements of Regulation 36 of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and has built in features to ensure the safety and security of information, which is captured on a personal digital assistant (PDA).
Installers complete forms electronically, such as the CP1 and CP14, directly onto a hand-held PDA while out on the road. They can also add and access customer details, track job progress, provide costs, log duration and on-the-job notes, as well as utilising the digital signature function. All information is then downloaded back at the office PC for updating and outputting for despatch to customers.
The system provides a central point of control for all business activity, which allows the installer to use their time more efficiently. The longevity of the product also means that it makes economic sense.
