CORGI Certification Limited assesses a product in terms of quality and safety and can help companies gain business
The first product to be officially endorsed by leaders in gas safety CORGI Certification Ltd was announced today, 28th May 2004.
SF Detection’s Carbon Monoxide (CO) detectors SF350(EN) and SF350(BS), which feature an audible and visual alarm to alert consumers to a CO leak, have been given the CORGI stamp of approval following stringent assessment.
CORGI Certification offers approval in areas of safety, quality and competence. Its’ schemes provide an accessible way for businesses to demonstrate their ability to deliver a quality service or product. And as industry organisations have contributed to the development of the assessment criteria, approval by CORGI makes a difference.
To be eligible for approval a product has to meet specific technical criteria, as well as fulfilling additional requirements, which for CO alarms includes the safety advice being made available in Braille and ethnic languages.
