On 1st September 2004 CORGI announced the launch of www.corgi-direct.com - a new web shop developed to make it easier for gas installers to buy products and services from CORGI. Recent research carried out by CORGI suggested over 70% of gas installers use the Internet to purchase products to help them in their work.
Matthew Stammers, CORGI direct Manager said, “We know that gas installers use the Internet to help them do business. CORGI’s objective is to support gas installers, so it makes sense to provide them with the channel to buy from CORGI that suits their needs and lifestyle. The new shop will be open 24 hours a day and it is hoped this will make their lives easier”.
CORGI direct sell a broad range of products and services to help meet the needs of gas professionals, from publications, pads and labels, power tools, signage and stationary, work wear and safety equipment to public liability insurance and income protection plans.
Customers can now buy online or by ordering from the new-look CORGI direct catalogue, which will be sent out separately from The Gas Installer to all CORGI registered businesses for the first time in September.
