Although we have no Inspector vacancies currently, we are always interested in receiving applications from people who are interested in becoming an Inspector.
As an Inspector you will assess the competence of businesses and their operatives for CORGI registration through questioning, inspection and analysis of procedures. You will also assess the standards required for registered installers under Building Regulations Part P.
You must possess City and Guilds Gas Service Engineer or equivalent, together with current domestic ACS certificates. In addition possession of City and Guilds 2381 level 3 for electrical installations would be an advantage although training will be given if required.
You will possess wide gas industry experience and proven knowledge of Gas Safety Regulations and other relevant legislation. This role will involve some "hands-on" work that would require the use of tools and some physical effort.
