PURCHASING MANAGER
£45,000 per annum + car, pension scheme, private medical insurance
Responsible for creating a clear organisational strategy that will deliver sourcing and procurement processes which will integrate with all relevant businesses. This person will assist managers to achieve the best value from purchasing activities and ongoing supplier contracts and ensure that suppliers meet our requirements in terms of not only price, but delivery and quality.
You will have a strong customer focus and proven negotiating skills and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels internally and externally. In addition, proactivity, enthusiasm, commitment and an orientation towards achieving results/fulfilling objectives and having the drive to succeed in all areas are essential.
As an experienced people manager you will work with managers to ensure that we are continually assessing and improving supplier performance. You should be able to work off your own initiative and have the ability to work under pressure demonstrating effective time management and organisational skills. You should be educated to degree level with a minimum of 6 years, practical, related experience within a sourcing environment.
This role is full time and based at Headquarters in Basingstoke.
